The Mirror will be an official media partner for Pride in London 2024 where 35,000 people are set to take part in the parade from Hyde Park Corner through the city on June 29
For the first time in the title’s history, the Mirror will be an official media partner for Pride in London on Saturday, June 29.
The Mirror’s section in the parade is due to begin by 3pm, with the parade expected to take around an hour to complete. It ends in Whitehall Place before heading to Trafalgar Square, where there will be plenty of celebrations, music, solidarity and glitter.
This year’s Pride campaign is #WeAreEverywhere, reminding everyone of the importance of LGBTQ+ voices and that what is today seen as a celebration has its origins as a protest. This year, an incredible 35,000 people are set to take part in the parade, with around 60 journalists, staff and partners from the Mirror and local titles flying the flags.
The partnership with Pride London also means there will be extra coverage on The Mirror, Curiously and MyLondon in the run up, including podcasts and vodcasts. The partnership will continue throughout the year.
