Our three winners proved they have the eye for style to take their place on the Newsworks catwalk at MAD//Fest on Tuesday 4 July. Get to know the wardrobes of our agency fashionistas below…
Our first winner’s style is inspired by the seventies and her glamorous mum. Goodstuff partnerships senior account director Claudia Hellier’s wardrobe is proudly pre-loved from charity shops from her home town and online marketplaces. Her main tip for a good outfit? Basic and bold — choose one showstopper and let the outfit sing.
A fashion graduate specialising in sustainable design, winner number two — Spark Foundry executive performance planner Charlie Aldridge — is not afraid to dabble with eclectic tastes. He categorises his style as streetwear with influences of smart tailoring, queer culture and graphic design.
Last year, he smashed a goal of only buying online pre-loved clothes or creating his own pieces, and he loves the affordability and sustainability factors when it comes to switching up his style.
Finally, when it comes to dressing up for the occasion, festivals are our last winner’s time to shine. Conscious of fashion’s impact on the environment, Spark Foundry senior content executive Tass Miah prefers to complement capsule items with pre-loved pieces, as well as a bit of fashion DIY.
Her most recent creation was a pair of vintage dungarees for Harry Styles’ latest London show, which she souped up with a heart pattern — guess who else rocked up to Wembley in a matching fit…
Our three chosen fashionistas have £200 and two weeks to put together a stand out pre-loved outfit for our MAD//Fest fashion show on Tuesday 4 July. Their outfits will be critiqued by top stylists and fashion journalists, with the audience voting for the winner of another £300 to spend on pre-loved fashion.
